The challenge
StrongSuit's expanding capabilities introduced complexity across navigation, matter management, AI workflows, and third-party integrations. The challenge was unifying these experiences into a clear, scalable product while balancing powerful functionality with the simplicity, consistency, and trust expected from professional legal software.
Legal work is complicated enough. The software behind it shouldn't make it harder.
StrongSuit is an AI-powered legal platform built to help attorneys research, analyze, draft, and manage their work. As the platform grew, so did the complexity of its workflows, navigation, and features. The opportunity wasn't simply to make the interface look better. It was to rethink how everything worked together.
We helped shape StrongSuit into a more cohesive, intuitive product experience. From reimagining the dashboard and matter workspaces to simplifying StrongStart, legal research, document workflows, and onboarding, our focus has been on removing friction and making powerful capabilities feel effortless.
A significant part of the work involves bringing disconnected experiences into a unified system. We designed integration flows for platforms including Outlook, Clio, iManage, and Dropbox, while refining interaction patterns, component behavior, and the underlying design language. Alongside the product, We also helped evolve StrongSuit's digital brand through website experiences, visual storytelling, and marketing creative.
The goal throughout has been consistent: create an experience where sophisticated technology feels approachable, every interaction has a purpose, and attorneys can spend less time figuring out the software and more time doing meaningful work.
Outcome
Designed a more cohesive product experience spanning dashboard navigation, matter workflows, AI-assisted tools, onboarding, and enterprise integrations. Established clearer interaction patterns, more consistent components, and implementation-ready design specifications to support continued product development and scalability.
